Fleeced By Carol Higgins Clark By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This book is another entertaining read by Carol Higgins Clark. She has written the Regan Reilly Mysteries, and this is the fifth book in the series

Private Investigator Regan Reilly is attending a crime convention in New York being hosted by her mother, Nora Regan Reilly, who is an author of mystery novels. But while in New York, Regan is faced with a mystery of her own. The president of the Settlers' Club of Gramercy Park needs her help. Two members of the Settlers' Club have died, and their deaths have suspicion attached to them. Plus, four diamonds, worth about four million dollars, have disappeared. These diamonds were to be donated to the Settlers' Club by the two now deceased members, to help assist the ailing Club. Regan must put her detective skills to work to find out what is going on.

Fleeced was an enjoyable novel, with wit thrown in along with mystery. I really like the heroine, Regan Reilly. She has beauty and brains and knows how to get to the heart of whatever situation she finds herself.

If you are a Mary Higgins Clark fan (Carol's mother), I think you would enjoy reading the Regan Reilly Mysteries by Carol Higgins Clark.
