Fleetwood Mac Cd Tango In The Night By nightwing on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Tango in the Night is a good, but not great, album from Fleetwood Mac. It is a little more pop-oriented and less experimental than I would expect from them. Still, it is great to hear the band together after a long break between albums.

Lindsey Buckingham gets things started with Big Love, which is a fun song that builds and builds until the climax. Stevie Nicks comes in next with the beautiful Seven Wonders. Also on the album is her song Welcome to Room, Sara. While not one of her strongest songs, is still interesting to hear for its honest lyrics.

Christine McVie comes out sounding the best on the album. She has two strong songs here, both of which were hit singles. Everywhere and Little Lies.

While this is a good album, I come to expect more from the band. It seems a bit of a pedestrian effort compared to their other albums.
