Flexitol Foot Cream By wendywr on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I hate to wear shoes. Absolutely hate it. Unfortunately, my foot often show this with thick callouses on them, particularly the heel. Those callouses crack and are very painful. In general, I think I have very pretty feet, so I hate it when they get the cracks and callouses.

I saw the Flexitol foot balm at Wal-mart, and there's a picture of some pretty gross looking heels on the box. Sad to say, mine looked worse. I figured it was worth a try.

The instructions said to apply twice a day, but I will admit I only applied once a day. I'd take a shower in the evening so the skin was clean, and then apply the lotion. It is very thick and greasy. The big down side is that it feels a little gross on my hands afterwards, and it's difficult to wash off. After I put it on my feet, I would put on socks and go to bed.

Within a couple days, there was a definite improvement to my feet. After a week or so, I used a foot file on my feet, and the rest of the callouses came right off, and my feet looked and felt like I'd just had a pedicure. Maybe even better.

I am completely satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to soften and moisturize their feet.
