The other day, I had some free time and decided to check the App Store on the iPhone. Honestly, I am not a big fan of iPhone applications, I think, generally, their use are very limited and simply not worth downloading let alone paying for it. BUT, I took the plunge this time since this game was very cheap and had a good average rating (and I was bored to death). I must say that it is indeed a good portable game.

The concept is simple; you simply draw lines for a variety of planes and helicopters to have them land safely on 3 different spots (one for helicopters, one for small airplanes, and one for bigger airplanes). Needless to say, each one of these have different speeds and different sizes to make the game a bit challenging as the game progresses.

As simple as it sounds, the game actually have a good replayability value. Controls are very simple and intuitive. You draw paths using your finger and it's done. This allows people to get into the game very quickly as there is almost no "learning curve".

The only thing missing is the lack of online High Score board to compete against other players. This would definitely add more value and replayability. On the other hand, this can be easily added with newer updates from the publisher.

Verdict: BUY if you want a good portable game that is not deep but intuitive and fun to play for a few minutes a day.
