Flip-Top Notebook

Reviewing: U:Create Flip Top Notebook
Purchased at: Target     Price: $2.99 USD

There's no recycled content in this notebook; I chose it because I liked the flip-top, and the notebook was available with a wide variety of covers - colorful, creative, cheerful looking covers, not plain, boring, single color covers. I'd never heard of the brand (I'm assuming u:create is the brand - it's on the bottom right corner of the cover with a little logo), and the notebook was made in India. It is a 11 in. X 8 in. notebook with standard lined notebook paper (not the smaller college rule lines). The pages are perforated at the top, so you don't have to pull them off of the wire spiraling and wind up with those annoying tiny scraps of paper everywhere. It is a one subject notebook - no dividers - and it claims "easier to use, better quality paper, stiff back for note taking anywhere!" I don't know if I'd say it's easier to use, but I prefer the flip-top to the standard notebooks. As far as the paper being better quality - well it seems the same to me as the paper in any other notebook I've ever used. Maybe I'm just not that picky. It does have a stiff cardboard back that keeps it from bending if you don't have a desk or table to write on.
