Flobots to the Rescue

Whoa...So I find myself driving through L.A. listening to a local independent radio station.This rythmic plucking begins followed slowly by a commanding flo. Two minutes or so later i'm sitting there waiting to hear who it was fromt he DJ.No luck though.I go on about my day only to hear the song 5 more times on other radio stations.That song...Handlebars...by Flobots.Who and more importantly where did this song come from.I immediatly get online at home and look up the cd.There it is Flobots..Fight with Tools.8 bucks on amazon, so naturally I give it a shot.What I got for my money was musically heaven for my ears. Rarely is political music done in a tasteful, unique and fun way.These guys nailed it.Politically charged to all ends these Denver based MC's hit us relentlessly with their memorable flo's and catchy rythm. Accompanied by a violin, a bassist, a trumpet, some drums, and a guitar the music sets powerful tone for whatw they bring accross.Their sound is amazing...and fun and it makes a person think without making them mad.So if you'd like to hear a new sound..great rap...amazing music...and on top of all that you'd like to hear a message that has been trying to get through for a while then I highly recomend this cd.Fight With Tools.Check it out.
