Flushed Away by Dreamworks, is a very funny and entertaining story about a very spoiled and pampered pet mouse, Roddy St James (voice by Hugh Jackson). Through a series of unfortunate events, his path crosses with that of a sewer rat, Sid (voice by Shane Richie) and he ends up being "flushed away". He finds himself in an unfamiliar city of common-mice beneath the streets of London. He meets up, and falls for, a street-wise but funny rat on a mission names Rita (voice by Kate Winslet). Together this unlikely couple pairs up to help each other out. They must escape the creepy mean toad, and overcome lots of hysterical road blocks before they can save, not only each other, but the entire underground sewer city. My personal favorite stars of the movies are the very talented singing slugs!

Our entire family really enjoyed this movie. Not only was it funny and fast moving for children, there was some really funny moments that adults can appreciate. A really fun family movie!
