Flushed Away DVD
By Olin Froid onHave you seen the movie Flushed Away? Well, if not, you are missing out on a fun movie for kids...and my four year old can tell you that for a fact! Flushed Away, available on DVD is a great movie for any little ones in body or at heart that may be looking for a fun movie that is a little out of the ordinary. The movie involves a small mouse and his adventures at his fancy home and what happens when he is literally "flushed away" down the toilet and into the sewers.
My 4 year old loves the movie, she talks about it all the time. Her favorite is the singing slugs that are all over in the sewers and love to break out into random tunes. They are a bit scary looking at first, but she warmed up once they broke into tune!
The extra features are great, lots of choices for games, extra scenes and commentaries. My children don't really care for that part, but it is fun for me to learn and see some of the extras that go into making the movie.
The movie is a fun look at the adventures of this mouse that I would recommend finding on DVD in case you missed it the first time through at your local movie theater.
Singing slugs? How fun!!! I have seen this movie and I agree that it's fun for the whole family. Very cute!
I wanted to see this at the theater but never got a chance. Now I will have to go rent it.
My 4 year old would probably like this too... will add it to my Netflix! :)
Never heard of this one. Sounds zany, and right in line with topics that interest kids!
Was it just me...or did the slugs look like something else you see in the sewer?
