Reviewing: Unknown Folk Art Night Light Shade
Purchased at: Nh Gift Shop     Price: $5.00 USD

While on a trip back to New England where I was born, my husband and I visited many gift shops and of course, a few tourist traps. It's just not vacation without traipsing through all that cheap junk.

We were staying with my cousin who lives in NH. She knows just about every store in all of New England. We left it to her to pick the most unusual or best stores for us to visit and she didn't disappoint us.

While looking in a very old general store, I came across this little night light lamp shade. It was so cute and reminded me of the area where I originally came from. I have a room with similar decorating and a couple of pictures that are also similar, so this really caught my attention. Most of the night light covers I've seen are pretty bland. Living in the Midwest, I don't see these type decorations very often, so I was not going to leave without it.

The shade is well made and the art work on it is really nice. Ithas held up well over the past couple of years and I still love it as much as I did when I bought it.

It's nice to have this type souvenir. It's useful and reminds me of the trip every day, but also reminds me of where I come from. I see it every day and turn it on every night and it always gives me a nice feeling when I see it. I think I may need to go back and look for more items like this.
