For A Healthier Life By dav3tv on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Psychology Today's tagline "For A Healthier Life" really seems to fit. I've been reading the magazine off and on for years and have subscribed for the past couple years and really like the magazine for it's layman's look at the human mind and the way we interact with our environment. It's managed to get a bit trendy in recent years but still makes for interesting reading. Recent articles I've enjoyed were A Fetish For Firsts (why we prefer original works of art to reproductions) and Unusual Suspects (an article on "Munchausen mothers", mothers who deliberately sicken their children in a bid for attention from their doctors).

I would prefer a glossier paper stock and fewer ads but those are minor quibbles for an overall great reading/learning experience for those interested in human behaviors. Don't let the stuffy magazine title fool you: this stuff is for everybody!
