For Sparkling White Teeth, or is it?

Reviewing: Colgate Total Advanced Clean Plus Whitening

At my last trip to the dentist they gave me two trial boxes of Colgate Total Advanced Clean Plus Whitening. On the box it says that the toothpaste is ADA accepted, which is a good thing. The active ingredients are Sodium Flouride (0.24%) for anticavity and Triclosan (0.30%) for antigingivitis. The box says also not to let children under 6 years of age use this toothpaste. The taste of it is minty and pretty good for toothpaste. I have used this toothpaste for over two weeks and have just not really seen any proven whitening. I am assuming it is doing its job to prevent cavities, but I will find that out at my next dental check-up. Honestly I just feel that this toothpaste is average. There is just nothing exceptional about it. Although, one good quality about this toothpaste is that it does not cause sensitivity. I just noticed more of a difference on the coloring of my teeth when I use my basic Rembrandt. I say if you are a Colgate fan you might want to try this out, but if you are happy with the results of your current brand I see no need to switch.

I love this toothpaste. Avoid Close Up! That's a scam!

I'd avoid putting anything with triclosan in my mouth... it's the same antibacterial agent they put in handsoap and it's bad for the environment. Great review!
