Ford Ranger By bubbacat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Built Ford Tuff! My husband will only buy Ford trucks. He swears by them. He owned a 1993 Ford Ranger two wheel drive standard shift five speed. It was used and had 56,000 miles on it. He sold it with 135,000 miles! He sold it to a friend and the truck still runs with over 200,000 miles. It never burned a drop of oil. After years with a standard shift, my husband was ready for an automatic Ford truck. He was just tired of shifting all the time. He purchased another Ford Ranger, a 2004 new Tremor. It is a four wheel drive. We test drove it and loved the looks and ride. The only thing it had a special package, a 4 foot Pioneer stereo boom box. This was something my husband really didn't need but we loved the truck. Besides why not? My husband can drown out the young kids! We bought it! It runs excellent...doesn't burn oil....repair free and has 95,000 miles now. My husband drives 100 miles a day five days a week. It's good on gas. The truck has needed new brakes, oil changes and tires. Other than that, great truck. Believe the slogan Ford Tuff. 100% correct.
