Fortress Forever By Sam Rockwell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Fortress Forever is team-based capture the flag mod for Half-Life 2. It was released in September of 2007, around the same time that Team Fortress 2 and the Orange Box was released. Fortress Forever includes nine unique classes such as scouts, medics, soldiers, and engineers for offensive and defensive purposes. Many players flocked to Team Fortress 2 after it's release because of the simpler and more effective gameplay, more beautiful graphics, and humorous and offbeat sounds. However, Fortress Forever hold's it own on many merits. Where Team Fortress 2 excels in simplicity, FF does in options and choices. Many of the classes have different weapons and abilities that counter other classes, so no class is left in the dust. It's an entertaining game with a full server of players, and shouldn't go unnoticed.
