My wife designs at Foxglove Florist on the boarder between Alexandira and Arlington, VA. The shop is extremly creative displayed with a seasonal front window displays and is a show in itself. A photo of her work is at my local florist review review. Great design of live flowers from all the designers, I am obviously biased. They carry lots of other items which I am less biased since ordered by one of the owners. They carry the best silks I have ever seen. I challenge you to visually tell them apart from the real flowers or plants. They have a artifical tree other than smell is ideal in that it takes no watering or triming and visually is indistingusable from the real thing. They also have a great selection of novelty and gift items (jewlery, cards, soaps, candy, orchids, plants, small signs, decorating items, etc.) that are unusual and resonably priced. The best value on these in after season sales like just did one on christmas items.
