Freddi Fish 4 By Amy Denney on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have two sons ages 8 and 5. They both adore playing on the computer. I am constantly trying to find games and activities to not only help them learn but also that are fun and interesting.

Recently, I went to the store and found a CD that grabbed my attention. It is called Freddi Fish 4 "The Case of The Hogfish Rustlers of Briny Gulch." The ages that this game covers is 3 to 8. The price was right so I figured I would try it.

The theme of the game is the old west and it is located under the sea. The characters are Freddi and Luther who are both cowboy fish and they are trying to help Cousin Calico find her prize hogfish that was taken by rustlers.

The graphic are pretty good. The characters are fun and the background is beautiful. It states that it helps to develop logical thinking, problem solving and memory skills. The game can be played over and over by changing decisions thus bringing about different obstacles and adventures.

I would definitely recommend this product for younger children around 3 or 4. My older children found it amusing for approximately 2 hours and then they were bored. They have played it maybe twice.
