Around here we still have Christmas stockings just like when the kids were little. As usual, they are so full that i can't find anything to hold them, so they usually sit under the tree with the presents. Last year i found this 36" stocking holder when shopping, and thought what a great idea.First it is very decorative, with a dark bronze metal finish, and sized 36L x 13W x 39H. There are 6 hooks to hang the stockings on, but the stockings are not included. It also adds such a nice decor to the Christmas theme in the house. I must say i had to do some staggering of the heavy stockings, so as not to tip it over. I buy to much!!
The family has grown and there are not enough hooks to hold all the stockings(need 7), but my husband made one extra,and now all the stockings are hung full to the tops. Here, at our house the stockings are the first to be opened . We spoil them , we do!
Liked this stocking holder so much, that at the end of the year sales, I bought two more ($2.50each) for the boys and their families for use in their house.

I love doing stocking stuffers, great idea and will have to keep an eye out for them when they go on sale!!
