Frigidaire 30 Inch Stove Oven Range By GMC3MOM on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We are very pleased with our fridgedaire range! It does have an energy star rating, although I don't recall the details of it. The autolock feature is nice, however you can only use it when the oven is off. It would be nice to have it available when the oven is on so that I never have to worry about the kids opening the door when I am baking should I have to leave the room. With the controls for the oven being at the front of the range, the autolock does keep the kids from turning on the oven, so I do believe the autolock feature is awesome none the less.

The varying burner sizes have been great and in the 2 years we have had this, we have never had a situation where I felt I needed an additional burner or wished there were any differences to the stove top. Oven does a great job with cooking and baking, and I find it runs true to temperature. So I have been able to follow recipe directions without the need of having to stand there and check often. This is a problem we have had with ovens in the past, cooking hotter or cooler than the setting and also unevenly. This has not been an issue with our fridgedaire at all.

Stainless steel finish does show fingerprints, so if you have little children you may want to opt for a different finish. Unless you don't mind the fingerprints in between cleaning. Stainless finish does use a special cleaner to keep it looking at it's best. But I don't feel it takes much extra effort when cleaning the kitch.
