This is an upright freezer. It was fairly inexpensive and is at the low end of the spectrum as far as freezers go. It is 14.1 cubic feet. One major drawback of this freezer is that it is a manual defrost. This is a real pain and would be better if it was frost free or self defrosting. Other than that, it freezes quickly and keeps stuff really well. It has a lock on the side which is a nice feature. If you keep your freezer in the garage or basement, you can lock it up to avoid anything being stolen or to avoid a child being trapped in it. My freezer is white, but I think you can also get it in white. A feature I really like is the pull out basket at the bottom of the freezer. It holds bags of food really easily. If you freeze veggies or fruits, these fit really well in the basket and free up the shelves. I would recommend this freezer for someone who doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles and just wants a good reliable freezer.
