I'm not one for Knick Knacks. In fact the last time I collected anything I had so many clowns in my bedroom I had to sell most of them in a garage sale just to move into an apartment! But when I saw this Frog-prince as part of over 3 dozen figurine boxes from Kingspoint Designs I had to have him. Now I won't tell you why I happen to have a strange attraction to a "frog prince" but I have been single for over 20 years and I do hope that "someday my prince will come."

Anyway, Kingspoint makes the most beautiful figurine boxes - crafted in pewter, painted with beautiful enamel paints and accented with Austrian crystals. They have a huge selection of dogs, cats, birds, insects and other items like pianos and fancy boxes. There isn't an ugly iten in the collection - even the lobsters!

These are real hinged boxes and many selections contain matching necklaces on gold or silver chains.

My pictures hardly show just how cute this frog is sitting on his separate lily pad. But every time I look at him here on my computer desk I smile.

These figurine boxes are available at fine jewelry and specialty stores as well as online store including eBay. Just do an internet search for Kingspoint Designs and you will have a feast of a selection to enjoy - with phtography much better than mine. I don't think they've missed any breed of dog and their butterflies and birds are exquisite. The box part of each figurine is large enough to hold a special piece of jewelry. These are great gift ideas for hard-to-shop-for friends and family - especially the cute doggies! I've never seen one with flawed paint or missing crystals - the craftmanship is excellent. Take a look at these figurine boxes even if you aren't one to collect them - you might fall in love with one like I did.
