My wife and I purchased The Original Lincoln Logs by Frontier Fort for our son as a Christmas present. That was about five years ago. Now his little brother plays with them. Suprisingly all of the pieces are still accounted for. That is because the Lincoln Logs come in a nice sturdy canister with a lid. The Lincoln Log set included 75 logs, 2 lookout towers, teepee, canoe, lookout wall, 2 flags, gate, 2 gate doors, cavalry officer and a native american chief. Having all of these pieces allowed our son to build several different things when he was smaller. He built the scene on the canister I can't count how many times. Our oldest son loved the Lincoln Logs so much let now he trys and help his younger brother build things. We are even thinking about getting another Lincoln Log set with a different scene so he will have additional pieces to build with.
