This has been a good car seat overall. When I first tried to figure out the installation, it was a bit complicated. It was difficult to get the base to fit properly into the back seat. The directions were hard to follow. My baby has enjoyed being in the car seat. He is comfortable and the head rest helps him to feel more secure. The handle makes it portable and easy to get in and out of the vehicle. I feel relatively confident that the seat is keeping him safe. I was also happy that the car seat was design to be easy to fit in the car. I have a pickup truck and this seat is able to fit in the back seat very comfortably. I have the "family tree" model. It is a very fun and whimsical design.
