My daughter received the Aquadoodle Elmo Mat for her 2nd birthday. She is a huge fan of Elmo and is starting to love to draw as well. This has been a great toy for her to explore and play with.

This toy is super easy to set up. It involves unrolling the mat, unwrapping the Elmo stamp and car, and filling the marker and stamp pad with water. It couldn't be easier! I love that this is an arts & crafts toy that does not involve cleaning up a mess. Being Aquadoodle, the water in the marker causes the mark on the pad. You cannot use other markers with it---well, you could, but then it wouldn't disappear! The doodles eventually dry and disappear. This may be a problem for impatient toddlers!

I love that it is clean and easy to use. My daughter loves the big space for drawing and plopping right down on the mat. There are easy steps to draw pictures around the perimeter of the mat (Elmo, an airplane and Dorothy). You can roll the car across the stamp pad and then roll it on the mat to leave a trail or stamp Elmo's face with the Elmo stamp. My daughter has tons of fun with this and it is nice to just pick up and put aside until the next time. Be sure and allow the mat, stamp pad and marker plenty of time to dry in order to prevent mold and bacterial growth. Do not store until completely dry!
