Fun for the whole family

My family loves to play games. We have all kinds of board games, card games, computer games but we wanted something a little more challenging so we purchased MAD GAB. Now the box says that it is recommened for two to twelve players and ages ten and up but we have played with fifteen people before and my seven year old plays it and loves it. What you do is there are cards with really weird phrases on them and you have so say the phrases and sound them out to make out a real phrase, name or saying. For example: "Canoe Key Pace He Grit". This really says "Can you keep a secret". But you have to keep saying it and sounding it out to figure out what it really is and the more you say it the funnier it gets. We try to listen to each other because one person may be saying it plain as day and just not realizing that they are actually saying the phrase. If you enjoy playing games with your family and friends then this is the game for you.

I never heard of this game but it sounds like a lot fun. I would bet my 8 year old would love this game. I will have to keep it in mind of his birthday this summer

I love it...sounds like a blast to play. I've never heard of it before. Think I'll pick one up the next time my family get's together to play games.

Oh gosh I absolutely love this game!!!! I have a MEDIA version that has phrases that have to do with movies, music, and books. It's great! Although sometimes I can hear the phrases better when I'm a little tipsy! It's a great game, and I'm the current champion amoung my family when we play it. Hopefully I won't be dethroned anytime soon! :o)
