Fun To Learn Potty, Not So Much By linablue on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Fun to Learn Potty seemed like a good choice for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. For the most part it was, although my 5 year old seemed to enjoy the songs and features more that the intended target child. The most difficult aspect was getting her to sit on the potty at all, which we solved by placing it in the den near the TV. Once she was accustomed to using it she quickly moved to the real potty, so the total period we used the product for was only about 4 weeks. The potty consists of two parts that snap together and the bowl under the seat. It is bulky and awkward to move around. In addition it is difficult to clean well as there are many crevices and seams were urine seems to hide. The constant songs are annoying but there is a lower volume switch that helps and it does turn itself off after some time. Overall, using this potty did result in my daughter being trained, however for the cost I think I would have purchased a simpler chair and gotten the same results.
