I recently was sent a Gillette proglide power razor in the mail. I just opened up the box it came in and put in the small battery that comes with it. I have had this razor for about a week now as Gillette sent me this to try for free. This morning my curiosity got the better of me. I have used some of their other popular razors including the manual fusion razor which I like quite a bit although I was never crazy about the price of the blades for it. I am sure the blades for this one will not be any cheaper although they did send some coupons to defray the cost along with this new product. Once I found where to turn it on which was not too hard to find and applied the shaving creme I began the process of shaving. I was really surprised as it was almost like not shaving at all. Its an electric razor in a manual hand held razor type style. I found it to be pretty unique and the shave itself was very comfortable and also very close I might add. Gillette did their homework on this one. The blades seem to be not quite as thick as their other products and the movement or glide over the face was so smooth that it really was pretty amazing. Nice job by Gillette on this one. This product has my recommendation.
