Fusion VRi Automobile Tires

I was looking for a new tire for my 2006 Chevy Cobalt, and didn't want to spend alot but wanted some quality out of a tire. I purchased a set of 4 Fusion VRi 205/55/16 tires from Tirerack.com for my car. The first thing I liked about the tire was the price. The price was $68 a tire, and its hard to find a tire at that price these days. The Fusion is listed as a High Performance All Season Tire.
As I live where there is alot of snow, I put these on my car and took it for a ride. The first thing I noticed is that there was very little slippage in light snow. Heavier snow, I tended to spin a bit but what would you expect from a All Season tire that cost less thank $70 bucks. The handling seemed to be good and on dry pavement there was very little sound from the tire. The wet performance of the tire, was about average....as the grip seemed to hold well, but I wouldn't go screaming around a corner that was wet. I've put about 2000 miles on the tire and the tread is holding well and I can't see much of wear, yet. Dry perfoamance is about what you would expect from a tire.
If your looking for a cheap all around tire, I would take a look at the Fusion VRi All Season Tire.
This would make a great set of tires if you needed them to be in the lower end of the pricing range. They sound safe but I think that with snow where you live, I would rather have a better gripping tire. Drive safely :)
You just be safe-I hate the thought of you spinning around when there is heavier snow falls. These do sound perfect on dry surfaces!

I have a set of these tires that came with my 07 sonata I have to say they are really quiet and ride really smooth and the drive great in the rain will have to see how they drive in the winter will update then
I like this tire. It looks tough and strong.
