Futurama Bender's Big Score By shulockabaulugy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

After being on hiatus for over two years, Futurama finally returns in the form of a straight-to-DVD movie. All the original voice actors return to reprise their roles and the animation is on par with the latest season of Futurama which last aired in 2003. Even if you're new to Futurama, the story is easy (yet complicated enough) for anyone to follow and really brings the franchise to a new peak. Many callbacks to previous episodes are called upon and there is always something new to find in the backgrounds that somehow relate to previous episodes. The creators tried to call upon every major and non major character that has appeared in Futurama since it's beginning, but there are some notably missing characters. The lovable Mom is only seen, never heard and Professor Ogden Wernstrom is absent. Even the evil Robot Devil is absent, despite his band being present during a wedding reception. FBBS is a fine addition to the Futurama franchise.
