Fuzzy Crocs For Kids By Mom2One on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am sure most every one has heard of Crocs before. We are a Croc family, my husband, my son and I all have at least 2 sets of Crocs.

We live in a Northern state and were disappointed when we had to put our crocs away for the winter.

Then I heard of Crocs Mammoth. I brought my son a pair for Christmas and they are great. Now, he didn't use these as an every day shoe but they worked out wonderful when he had to go to Tae Kwon Do class. He just slipped them on and when he got to class he easily slipped them off.

They looked like a Croc but there is a lining of "fur" on the inside. You would not think it would be that warm, but it is so soft and fuzzy inside. I would not stand outside in subzero temperatures for a long amount of time with these but just running from the car to a building works perfectly.

The lining is easy to remove and can be thrown in the washer machine.

My only complaint with these croc mammoths is I wish they had a back strap to them like the typical Croc. These are more in the shape of a clog, no back straps.

My son really likes these. Again I would not recommend them for an everyday shoe, but if you live someplace where the winters are cold and you want a shoe you can slip on and off easily, Mammoth Crocs are the way to go.

They come in children's sizes all the way up to adults. I will say I found the children's sizes harder to find in stores. I had to order my son's off the Croc website.

These sound like the perfect winter shoe - almost like a slipper!

I'm wondering if the 3 of you got matching crocs? Hubby & I have matching converse ;). I've never heard of fuzzy crocs, but they are definately something that makes sense here in Minnesota!!

You sure is a Croc family with your husband, son and yourself having at least 2 sets of Crocs !!! Good investment there since crocs are real comfy shoes to wear.

That's cool that you can take out the liner and wash them...prevents stinky shoes! Thanks for sharing!

I love wearing my crocs. I have 3 pair but I have never heard of these where you can take the inserts out and wash them. That sounds great. Thanks for sharing.

Not a fan of Crocs myself, but I'm glad you found a version that works for you after you have put the warm weather ones away.

These sound great, especially for those times when warm, cuddly feet are nice to enjoy :) Thanks for the info
