G5 POWER MAC-SHOULD YOU SWITCH?
By Debbie831 onOK all you PC users, its time to switch. It took me a year of wondering if I should switch over to MAC and I finally took the plunge and haven't looked back. If you are into creating movies, working with photo's or anything graphic you can't beat a MAC. I love this computer. What do I love about it? First its all in one. No tower to try and find a place for, everything is in the monitor which makes it easy to set up. I never have to worry about viruses, never have it freeze up and the customer service from Apple is unbelievable. They will go out of your way to help you! I know that the Mac is a little on the pricy side but it is worth the price. I now enjoy my computer instead of sitting there pounding on it because it won't load, or it freezes up. I even put and external dvd burner on it, how easy was it? Plugged it in the back and I was done! Try that with a PC!!
Our first computer was a Mac and my husband is dying to get one now. He makes me watch all the Mac vs PC commercials on TV too.
I have never tried a Mac....they sound more convenient than the PC's. I love the commercials !
I've been using Macs since 1988 - before there was a Hard Drive! I love them! I always show up with better graphics than any one else in the store or office.

I always wanted to try a mac. Macs are great for the stuff you mentioned, I still prefer PC though

Sounds like you have an iMac. I've been a Mac user since 1995 at home, and even before then in school. My current laptop is about four years and two months old and while it's a bit slow, it still works well. I am sometimes embarrassed to admit that I barely know how to work a PC with Windows because I have never needed one.
My Mom has been debating switching over to Mac. She does a lot with video clips and photos. I'll have to show her this--thanks!
