Gaiam yoga mat is the first yoga mat that I've ever own. This is one of the thinner yoga mats that I bought in a pack. It's a hot pink color and works very well. The particular design that I own seems to be unique since I haven't found it on the internet. You can also get other colors such as green or brown. One of the best features about it is the non-slip surface. I have sweaty palms and I always worry that when I stretch to much I might slip. I haven't had that accident yet, and I thank this product for it. It is very light-weight and easy to carry. I use my yoga strap as a sling to carry it around. This yoga mat is easy to assemble and roll up again. It doesn't really cushion my joints as well as I want it to, but this is expected from a not very thick mat. It's the right length and stays in place, it is an almost perfect product. If you are starting out yoga I suggest the Gaiam yoga mat, they also make yoga blocks and straps.
