Gain Financial Peace with CCCS

A few years ago I found myself to have too much credit card debt. I was not behind or late in my payments, but felt I could never catch up.
I called Consumer Credit Counseling and set up an appointment here at our local office. I brought in all my statements so that the worker could set up each of our accounts. They worked with the creditors to either lower the interest rates oreliminate all the interest rates all together.
I was able to make my monthly payments to CCCS directly and they distributed the payments to my creditors each month.
I never had any bad markings on my credit report either during the program or after. We actually purchased a home while on the program.
Getting on the program did help me, although I still have recent credit debt--just not as much!

Some of these services really do the right things, and some seem to be terrible. Glad this is a good one.
It's just too easy to get in over your head with credit cards. Tools of Satan, I call them -- tempting, and all too easy to use. Glad you found a way out that's working for you!
I know two friends of mine that used CCC and bought homes. They were so pleased with not being charged and with the rapid resolution of their debts.
It's a nice feeling to be on the right track to getting rid of debt!
I believe CCC is the most reputable of the companies offering this service.
