Its a really nice console for kids. It has ok graphics on a tv, it depends on the game though. It good for playing with friends because it has quite a few party type of games. Good gift for little kids. When i first got it, i thought it would alot of fun to play, but after a while i got really bored of playing the gamecube. I don't really recommend getting the gamecube unless you have younger kids because most of the games for Gamecube are kind of childish. If you wanted something from nintendo i would recommend getting the wii.
