Gardening is a passion of mine and over the years, I have made this look a part of my home. I really believe the outside should be an extension of your home and I am fortunuate to live in an area of the country where we can enjoy our backyard, deck and screened porch about eight months of the year. Garden Style, one of the many decorating books put out by Better Homes and Gardens is a beautiful tribute to this kind of decorating. It's also a wonderful source of ideas you can easily reproduce in your own home. The color pictures are lush and on every page. I have been able to take many ideas from this book and incorporate them into my home. The only reason I don't give it a perfect five is because the last section features shops from around the country that carry this style. I would have rather seen real homes all the way through than stylized shop windows. Other than that, it's a great addition to your decorating library!
