Anyone who works with their hands knows that not all hand products help to relieve the dry, cracked, calloused feeling. There are no magic potions that I've found, but this product is my favorite.

This is not a lotion or a cream. It is a salve. It is a thick, buttery-type product that you scoop out of the container and rub onto your hands. It feels somewhat waxy as I apply it to my hands, but that is a temporary feeling. Within minutes, my hands feel softer and even look younger as this gives them a moisturized look and feel.

My husband's hands take a beating both from his job and the work he does around our yard. He uses this to help his dry, cracked and calloused hands.

Since it takes a little while to absorb after putting it on, we usually use it overnight and like how it gives us better feeling hands the next morning. Occasionally, I use it during the day too and am pleased with how well it holds up after washing my hands. My hands still look moisturized and I can feel the product on the skin for hours. If I'm going to be using my fingers on something, such as my keyboard, I leave the product off my fingers and just use it on the back of my hands. It leaves a very soft, smooth feel on my hands that lasts, which lotions just don't do.
