It is loaded on my cell phone so I can take it anywhere. All I have to do is select my destination state, enter my destination address and street and the system will speak to me and give me turn my turn directions. It even shows a map on the phone's display so I can get an idea of where I am going. Unlike most GPS devices, it lets me know when I need to turn at least 500 feet prior to the action.

Additionally, it displays the traffic patterns for my area and weather. If I have made a wrong turn along the way, it's no problem for the Garmin. It simply recalculates my location and adjusts its direction to make certain that I am headed in the right direction. This is one tool that I can not live without.
