Garmin Streetpilot C330 Gps By cruisnfamily on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I love my GPS!
Our family had never owned a GPS but I had seen 1 in action in a friend's vehichle and decided we needed one of these handy dandy devices. I purchased a refubished unit online from Fry's or what I thought was a fabulous price of $150. We've bought refurbished in the past and never had a problem. The GPS was no different. No problems whatsoever with it being refurbished.
It was simple and easy to use right out of the box. Remember, we had never had one before and I was somewhat apprehensive as to whether we'd be able to figure it out. Again, no problem! Very user friendly and simple to use.
This thing does all kinds of things! You can choose from a list of places such as "fuel", "lodging", "dining", etc. Or you can program in your own locations, which we quickly did. We've started using it everywhere we go!
This is not the top of the line model and it does not have a few features that some of the fancier models have. For example, ours does not speak street names. It says "turn right in 500 ft" whereas some of the fancier models will say "turn right on Main ST in 500 ft". I don't mind, it has the map right there on the screen with the name of the street written out so you know what street it is.
Great entry level GPS! Does everything we want it to do and more! We're hooked now and want one for our other vehicle. Buy one, you won't be dissapointed.
Garmin StreetPilot C330 Purchased at: Frys Price: Refurbished $150

I have one of these and agree with much of what you said.
I love the Garmin GPS. I bought one for my daughter about a year ago and she loves it. I get peace of mind knowing she will never get lost.
These sound like wonderful devices & hopefully my family will get one! For now, we rely on my husband's directions!
Great price on that GPS. I've never heard of Fry's but plan to take a look at that site this weekend!
Sounds like a great GPS at a wonderful price.
I had no idea Fry's sold refurbished GPS. Since Froggy loves bargains, guess where she's headed?
