Gateway Laptop Is Crap
By Ashton onThis laptop worked great for the first three months I had it. Then all the problems started. I didn't have any harmful software on it or anything to compromise the computer at all. Out of no where it started giving me a blue error screen every time I tried to boot it up. I tried to install all of the updates but it just kept giving me the error screen so I had it sent away to be fixed. I finally got it back after 6 weeks expecting that all would be well. However, a few months later the same thing started happening again only this time I could still use the computer it would just occasionally blue screen on me which was a huuuuge pain! I lost a lot of my documents and work and had to constantly redo things because of the stupid laptop. Then one day it wouldn't boot up anymore so I had to send it off again. I gave it to geek squad to handle it because it was still under warranty. They didn't fix it so they sent it off for weeks and when I got it back they told me that it was a manufacturing error and wasn't able to be fixed. Gateway has seriously disappointed me.

Oh wow! I'm so sorry to hear this. I have a Gateway laptop and just Love it!! It'll be two years old this coming March and I've never had a single issue with it...ever! Gateway should replace your laptop if there was a manufacturing error. I've never had to call them so I cannot comment on their customer service - I hope they make this right for you. (O:
Just by the way it is model MT6728. The screen is about 13 " and it has a ultrabright widescreen.
So I guess you can't get a refund? I have heard that Gateway's customer service is not very good. Very sorry
