Gatlinburg is a wonderful place to visit, whether for just a weekend or a full week. There is a wide variety of things to do. You can go outlet shopping, enjoy a dinner theatre show, go miniature golfing, see an aquarium, and enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Dollywood is an excellent amusement park with roller coasters and live entertainment. Ober Gatlinburg features skiing, ice skating, and black bears.

Folks come here to get married or have their honeymoon. Mutliple generations of family come to enjoy the sights. You can stay in a hotel close to all the action, or rent a cabin in the mountains to get away from it all. This is a very family-friendly destination.

There is lots of great food too. I highly recommend Pancake Pantry - the line usually extends out the front door, but it's worth the wait. It's the best breakfast you'll ever have!
