Gawahon Eco Park By poshpost on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We stayed at the Gawahon Eco-Park in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, Philippines for a 5-day, 4-night summer youth camp.

The place is actually nice, picture perfect and cool, because it is quite high than sea level. The problem was the service. We were booked and paid for the duration, but somebody took over one of our cottages and the management allowed it. It was really crazy. For a group of 80 campers, it was not easy.

I guess for a small group of 10 or 20, it would be a nice venue for a summer camp--after all, the weather is cool there and conducive for a getaway from the city.

It is a long bumpy drive from the city proper, so it is rather cumbersome to go there. I dunno, honestly, I won't go back there.

Sorry you didn't have a very good experience. Maybe they will get better managers. It sounds like a good location.

Sounds like it could really be a great place if they actually made it fun!
