Gdiapers By Amy Curtis on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I purchased these diapers as a greener alternative to regular diapers and absolutely love them! They have a flushable insert that eliminates the ick factor of regular cloth diapers. No more poop in the washing machine! They consist of an outer cloth layer that is super breatheable, a vinyl like liner that holds in the wetness and the flushable liner that absorbs like nothing I have ever seen. My son has never leaked! He leaked in everything we had tried up until now! The best part of these diapers to me is the green factor. Regular disposables take over 500 years to decompose! The G liners decompose in about 50 days! They can be flushed, composted or even thrown away like regular diapers because they decompose so quickly.
I would say the only downfall is that there are so many pieces to assemble. I have found though that just putting aside ten minutes in te evening to assemble the diapers for the next day eliminates this problem.

I have heard about these diapers, and they seem like a really great, environmentally-friendly alternative to disposable diapers. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
One of my "green" neighbors used these and just loved them! Her baby boy was never wet or leaky with these wonderful diapers. The only problem she had was with finding them easily in local stores.
These sound wonderful and what a great idea to take a few minutes in the evening and assemble them for the next day. Great alternative to regular disposables and thanks for helping our environment!
These Gdiapers sound fantabulous! I just love that they are both convenient and environmentally friendly! Great tip about assembling them the night before!
These sound great, and well worth the 10 minutes. I seem to remember that inserts were just coming out when we were doing diapers. I switched to cloth as Steve got older since it was the only way to provide enough absorbancy at night
