This GE cordless phone is a very basic model. This model has no caller ID, no answering system. The phone does offer channel selector to use when and if you have static on the call. It also features a ringer on/off switch to allow you to not be disturbed if sleeping or child speeping. I like the page feature. The page feature allows you to press a button on the base and the handset will beep until found. I love this feature with a preschool age child and preteen. I really did not have an issue with the range of the phone because I primarily used the phone in the house or on the front porch. I would maybe recommend this phone for a teen or preteen or my elderly grandmother. The phone allows you to move but not many features.
