Ge 30 Free Standing Electric Range By adadsview on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a ceramic top oven. I have owned ceramic top ovens in the past and they do require more care, but this one is extremely sensitive. Everyday cookware scratches the ceramic and it is hard to clean the top. I even bought a special cleaner and scraper and it is still hard to clean. It does have a burner that can adjust to small or large with the click of a switch. I like that.

Cooking in the oven can be a challenge. You have to flip things half way through their baking because the back of the oven gets hotter than the front. I have never had an oven that didn't distribute the heat evenly before. I've owned some cheap ovens in my years so I was disappointed in this.

It has a one year warranty. I think that is pretty standard. I knew this wasn't top of the line when I bought it, but I didn't think it would be this bad. I wouldn't recommend this oven.
