We bought the GE 6.0 Digital Interference Free Cordless Phone for one main feature. This particular model comes with two handsets. The first handset must be plugged into a telephone jack while the second handset can be plugged into any electrical outlet. This is particularly helpful if you need to put a telephone in a place or room that does not have a telephone jack.

There are several good features regarding this particular cordless phone. It does come equipped with call waiting and caller ID capabilities, handset speakerphone, 3 way conferencing and a do not disturb function.

My two main issues regarding this telephone are sound quality and ring volume. Even at its highest volume setting, we can often barely hear the telephone ringing. I would prefer to have the phone ring louder than it doesn. While the sound quality itself is ok, the volume again on the actual conversation is also too low. That is my main gripe with this phone model. Both the conversation volume and ring volume are too low. While not a huge deal, it is sometimes a minor inconvienience.

Overall, this telephone is just OK. It was not bad enough that I took the telephone back, but I would not buy it again.
