Ge Acrylic Latex Caulk Satisfaction Guaranteed! By Demon_Buttercup on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
When I think of caulk, I think back to days of my youth and my parents carrying around a big metal pump-like dispenser and a round metal tube of caulk with the paper base that gets pushed in as you pull the trigger to the dispenser. I was pleased to find that caulk has come a long way since the days of my youth!
At Target I purchased a 5.5 oz tube of GE Acrylic Latex All Purpose Caulk which comes in a soft plastic tube, almost like toothpaste! The packaging stated Satisfaction Guaranteed and that it was durable and easy to use - so I was sold.
Once I got home, I went to the baseboard by the door, which was what I needed to caulk - all I had to do was snip the tip of the tube and filling the crack was easier than squeezing frosting on a cake! Clean up was a breeze. The small amount I had gotten on my fingers came off easily.
Best yet, the crevices I caulked up are still holding strong today, almost a year later. I still have the tube of caulk also - as it came with a resealable cap. I've used it on several different projects since and each time it is as fresh and durable as it was the day I opened it. I don't think I could have found a better tube of caulk.

I love using good caulk. My dad is a contractor and there is so many thing you can use this stuff for. The more you use, the more you can save on electric bill.
I need some heavy duty caulking. The pricing on these tubes is great!. The only drawback to these is after as couple of uses, the tubes dry out fairly easily.
