This is a very decent, inexpensive, cordless phone. I have three boys and they are not exactly easy on anything. This phone has been dropped so many times, thrown a time or two, slammed in anger, and is always left off the charger. I have actually managed to keep this phone around for about a year and a half now. I paid $30.00 and it came with 2 phones. Believe it or not, they both still work. both phone's come with caller ID built right in, so you always know who is calling before you answer, and only one phone requires a phone jack, the second phone just plugs into the electrical outlet in any room you choose. I'f you have kids, and you need a durable, inexpensive phone this is the one. It also hold's a charge well (if they ever hung it up)!
