Ge Crystal Clear 40 Watt Light Bulbs By Dadof2Disneyboys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have been using the General Electric Crystal Clear forty-watt light bulbs in my ceiling fan lights. You get two bulbs in a pack for under a few dollars at Wal-Mart. I usually use the regular sixty-watt soft light bulbs in the house, but these crystal clear bulbs just give a nicer look in the lights where the actual bulb is visible, such as the ceiling fans, chandeliers, and sconces. These are called a decorative bulb. The lighting output on these bulbs is four hundred-eighty lumen's. The energy used is forty-watts, and the life is fifteen hundred hours. So they do last quite a long time at fifteen hundred hours. These are not as energy efficient as some of the newer light bulbs that are coming out now, but they look a lot nicer and give off a nicer light.
