GE Digital Answering System w3Mailboxes
By kateri27 onThis digital answering machine has saved my life.I love the fact that there are three mailboxes (one for each member of my family).
I was so used to the old school mini tape machine, and I am not the best at embracing the phone future.I have to say this machine was easy to set up, and easy to operate.
What I do like about an answering machine versus voicemail is the fact that you can screen your calls. If you see a number you don't know, let them leave a message and listen to see if the call is worth taking.
This answering machine also allows you to record two outgoing messages. Not bad.
I am not so thrilled with the thirty minute memory capacity.Although I rarely have that many messages if you have a few saved, and then go on vacation you risk running out of memory space.

I currently need an answering machine too. I am going to have to check this out.
Screening calls is wonderful. I have no idea why I keep paying a monthly charge for voicemail. Brainwashing! ;-) I'm suddenly inspired to go out and get an answering machine again. Thank you!
One of the famous myths of Pan involves the origin of his trademark pan flute. Syrinx was a beautiful nymph beloved by the satyrs and other wood dwellers. She scorned them all. As she was returning from the hunt one day, Pan met her. She ran away and didn't stop to hear his compliments, and he pursued from Mount Lycaeum until she came to the bank of the River Ladon where he overtook her. She had only time to call on the water nymphs for help. Just as Pan laid hands on her, she was turned into the river reeds. When the air blew through the reeds, it produced a plaintive melody. The god took some of the reeds to make an instrument which he called a syrinx, in honor of the nymph.
OOOOPS SOMETHING BAD Happened there. I don't know what! My computer is turning on me!
