We bought this General Electric Oven / Range several years ago at Lowes. It has been an excellent appliance and we have never had any problems with it. It is electric and it has four electric burners on the range top. Two large and two small. Each has it's own controller dial ranging from one to ten. One being the coolest and ten being the hottest. There is one controller dial that works the oven. It has a preheat setting and then goes all the way up to broil. The oven will beep when it is preheated. There is also a clock and a timer on the oven. The food cooks evenly in the oven. The only time I have ever had anything burn is when I used the broil setting, it cooked much faster than I expected and did burn the food. Overall, I very nice appliance.
