I use a slow cooker at least once a week, and while my older slow cooker is a workhorse, I needed a bigger model. I was shopping for at least a 6 quart model and was thrilled when I stumbled upon a stainless steel GE slow cooker.

The GE slow cooker I found was a 6.5 quart model. I loved the fact that it was a horizontal model, which meant I could easily cook ribs, whole chickens, and even a large turkey breast. I also loved the fact that it had a removable insert that cleans up easily.

At $25 I would highly recommend this product. Even if you already have a smaller slow cooker, this model is great to have around at the holidays. Keep your smaller one, like I did, and you can even slow cook two dishes at once. Even if you just use it at the holidays, you'll love this slow cooker.
