I am very limited on counter space, so this General Electric Under the Counter Can Opener works well for my kitchen. Basically what you have is a can opener that you attach to the underside of your cupboards or counter with some screws.

This can opener is nice because it not only opens cans, but has a bottle opener on it and a knife sharpener. Personally, I use the can opener and the bottle opener all the time. I rarely use the knife sharpener because I am just not comfortable in doing that.

The can opener can give me trouble at times by not opening the cans properly or by dropping the can. It has on occassion also dropped the lid back into the can, which I hate because I don't think that is sanitary. Overall, though, I have been happy with this can opener and I love that it is up off my counter, giving me more space for other things.

The bottle opener is extremely handy. If you drink bottled beer or soda on a regular basis like I do, this is wonderful. No more hunting around for a bottle opener. Just walk up to the bottle opener on the bottom of the can opener and snap off the top.

A good product that I would buy again.
